On August 21, the Ukrainian-Czech Chamber of Commerce (UKRCHAM) invited its members and distinguished guests to the Bethlehem Chapel to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Parliament Czech Republic Markéta Pekarová Adamová (TOP 09), President of the Ukrainian-Czech Chamber of Commerce Petr Krogman, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Volodymyr Kuzyo and hockey legend and Senate candidate Dominik Hašek spoke at the celebration. The evening was moderated by HN editor-in-chief Jaroslav Mašek. A silent auction was held throughout the evening. Proceeds from the auctioned items will be given to the defenders of Ukraine. It was an honor for Enkom to financially support not only the organization of such an important social event, but also the proceeds from the auction.
